Tina Shaw (born 1961) is a New Zealand novelist and children’s writer. Her first novel Birdie appeared in 1996, and she has gone on since then to publish several others. She has received many awards for her work, including the 2001 Creative New Zealand Berlin Writers Residency. She was also Writer-in-Residence at the University of Waikato in 2005.
She edited the travel writing collection, A Passion for Travel (1998) and, with Jack Ross, the speculative fiction anthology Myth of the 21st Century (2006).
